We know that our health is the most precious aspect of our lives. But if knowledge itself was enough, we would all be fully committed to being in the best physical, mental and emotional state in each stage of our lives. We would be prioritising our own wellbeing, even when the pieces of our lives are in complete chaos. If knowledge itself was enough, there would be no need for new year resolutions.
In reality, the biggest step is from knowing to doing. It is a journey with its uphills and downhills. Often, it is also a journey where we feel shame and guilt for not being perfect in keeping up the promises to ourselves.
