How is mindset and emotions connected to wellbeing and the quality of our lives?

So here is the thing and the reason why knowing the research on wellbeing is important: while wellbeing and longevity are often linked, but they’re not the same.
We know there are many factors that influence life span but it is just as important that we are also having a good quality of the life we experience, including physical, mental, and emotional health.

Those who are living with chronic pain or mental health challenges, often know the difference very well and first hand. This is why both - longevity and wellbeing - are fields that go hand in hand.  Through healthy habits, stress management, strong social connections, and a positive mindset—can enhance both the quality and length of life.
Naturally, wellbeing and longevity are interconnected, but wellbeing plays a vital role in making life truly fulfilling.

And when it comes to wellbeing - there is one aspect that stands out clearly - and that is our relationship to habits. Our habits can enhance or harm our overall state in the long run. There is one other aspect that is now coming into the spotlight of research and that is our mindset and emotions. These two have now gotten much correlation to our physical health and to our ability to extend the length of our active life.

And in health and wellbeing coaching, we address both to make lasting changes.
