The topic of stress resilience at the workplace.
The good, The bad and The ugly.

For years we talked about work-life balance.

But with digitalisation, more people in entrepreneurship, freelance and people seeking fulfilment through work - we have realised, drawing a line between private and work life is not always possible. So now we introduced the topic of stress resilience - our ability to bounce back from challenges, in work and in life.

The Good:
The best aspect is that resilience is something we can cultivate, we can build within ourselves and it helps us in all aspects of life. Resilient people thrive under pressure, maintaining productivity and focus. They adapt well to change and keep a positive work environment.

The Bad:
Resilience is mistaken for being ‘tough’ and for persistence, the ability to power through. Without proper boundaries, this leads to exhaustion. Cultivating resilience also means learning to prioritise in a meaningful way.

The Ugly:
In some workplaces, resilience is expected without offering the right tools or support, creating a toxic culture. Employees may feel isolated, with unrealistic expectations leading to chronic stress. If resilience is seen as an individual responsibility, rather than a shared value, it can backfire, leading to burnout and disengagement.
